Rygiel Wedding on May 29, 2010 at the Tulsa Historical Society |
|
"So there we sat, at Fenway Park, to watch Ryan and Maegan Rygiel as they tied the not and then everyone started dancing the night away." Yeah, that was us behind home plate (actually the groom's cake) calling it as we saw it all night. Really, it could have happened!! However, it was actually at the Tulsa Historical Society on Peoria...an equally great place for a wedding! It was a great day with great fun had by all! From elegant uplighting to the best music and DJ entertainment in Tulsa, there was not a sole that didn't hit the dance floor at least once. We here at Edge Sight and Sound would like to thank all the family and friends that made it such a blast, and we wish them both a wonderful life together. |

Jacobs/Robinson Wedding in Tulsa OK at The Barn |
|
We simply cannot say it better than our clients...hear what Mrs. Lesley Robinson had to say about her Tulsa Wedding Reception at The Barn: Edge Sight & Sound was awesome to work with! I live out of state and was still able to meet with my DJ twice to go over playlists, timelines, and general feel for both the ceremony and reception of my wedding. Both Kenneth Knoll and John Willever were fantastic! They worked with me to cut/mix music, as well as orchestrate ceremony timing and reception timing. The website was easy to work with and their quick responses to my e-mails and questions were greatly appreciated. They even designed a monogram cut-out for our day that matched our guest favors. Their flexibility to "go with the flow" in an unexpected 6 inches of snow kept me relaxed and able to enjoy the evening without worrying about awkward music transitions. Everyone had such a great time as John kept one great song after another coming. We were surprised that not many people left early due to an unexpected almost blizzard on the first day of spring - and I owe that to John for keeping the party going. Everyone stayed warm by dancing the night away. I definitely recommend Edge Sight & Sound!! One happy bride! |

Johnson Wichita Wedding on March 20th, 2010 |
|
Located in the cozy Anne Beach gallery at the Salvation Army camp near Wichita, the Johnson family gathered alongside the Ector's to celebrate the marriage of Pharaoh and Vanna Johnson. Complete with a fire place to add to the feel, the intimant family came ready to enjoy a night of each others company and dancing, despite the near blizzard-like conditions. LED uplighting definitely added to the atmosphere as we were able to match their colors, and DMX lighting kept the dance floor elegant and upbeat. As always, it was great working with corporate caterers and I hope everyone enjoyed their night! Congrats, Pharaoh and Vanna!

Disc Jockeys for the South Barber Prom on April 10th, 2010 |
|
The first stop of the Edge Sight and Sound Prom campaign was South Barber High School in Kiowa KS. The dance followed a catered dinner on the "terrace" where the decorations were extensive as always and everyone was taken away "under the sea." This smaller group fit our blue package perfectly and they were able to hear their favorite songs all night, from Red Dirt to today's top 40.

Carlson Wedding Reception in Cushing Oklahoma |
|
What an incredible day at the Timberline Elk Ranch. And yes, it is an ELK ranch. An otherwise empty hall transformed into a gorgeous reception venue. Doug, father of the bride, was smooth as can be for the Father/Daughter Dance. So too, were the the guests when it came time to gettin' down. Those of you in the surrounding Tulsa and Cushing areas should strongly consider this location for an awesome reception, and then call us at Edge Sight and Sound to make the evening an unbelievable memory.

University of Tulsa Springfest 2010 - We were there! |
|
We took part in this years Annual TU Springfest. Normally every year they hold it out on the "Old U" outside, but rain tried to spoil the event. Instead we moved it inside and had a colorful time. We had great food courtesy of Brandon (lead chef at TU) and the students came out and supported and raised money for charity by purchasing shoes and Decorating them. We want to thank grant for organizing the event and choosing Edge to provide the music and of course a HUGE thank you to all students who came out!

Wichita East High Prom on April 17th, 2010 |
|
The second week of our prom Kansas prom campaign, East High School came to party. The decorations coincidentally matched South Barber's underwater scene, but with a spin. The theme was "back to the future" and the Prom King and Queen shared their dance to "Earth Angel" followed by "Johnny B. Goode". With over 750 students in attendance, our Elite Package was the best fit. Our large projection screen on the dance floor enabled the students to dance to party to the most popular music videos such as Beyonce's "Single Ladies" at our video dance party. A powerful bubble machine topped off the packed dance floor. For students who needed a break, we provided a Guitar Hero party in the hall adjacent to the main dance floor. A special thanks goes to Laurel Scott for being great to work with and making this event an awesome success! I hope everyone had a blast...we know we did and we're looking forward to it next year!

AG 1 Source Company Holiday Party |
![]() AG 1 Source, a small tight-knit company, decided to toss things up a bit for their annual Christmas party. AG I Source wanted to stray from the normal, run of the mill dinner party and kick things up a notch by hiring Edge as DJ entertainment at the Old Cowtown Saloon. The group partied into the night and I think we accomplished their goal of a fun party!
See you next year! - Caleb |

![]() You have undoubtedly heard about the Tulsa Young Professionals organization at one time or another. This group of up-and-coming Tulsa residents permeates virtually everything that makes Tulsa a great place to live. Fueling new members to this organization is the University of Tulsa. Now, for the first time ever, the two groups have united for a TU and TYPros mixer to enhance the relations hip that already exists between these two young professional powerhouses. Edge Sight & Sound is a proud member organization to the Tulsa Young Professionals and even has TU Alumni within the company. Below are several more photos from what was an excellent event. ![]() |

A Sweet 16 Birthday and Halloween Bash All-In-One! |
|
On Halloween I got to skip out on buying a costume and just be the usual... a DJ. It was a sweet 16 birthday party and a Halloween bash all in one. I'd say at least 75 15-17 year olds made their way through the heavily decorated house to help Bridget celebrate. All of them were dressed appropriately... kind of. There were 6 ft tall guys wearing nothing but diapers and white boys who underwent some serious skin treatments to look like Lil Wayne. Of course Edge provided the best professional entertainment out there, but I have to say the costumes added to the excitement! The house was packed the entire evening with people dancing, playing Twister and jumping on the giant blow up toys. Thanks so much Keith for throwing your daughter the best sweet 16 ever! -DJ Mikey |

Every year seems to go better than the last and i look forward to it every year. Carla, thanks again for having me back for my fourth year, i hope to see you guys again next Halloween! -LaneVisit us on the web: www.EdgeSightAndSound.com Anyone can play music, we entertain. |

Wichita Disc Jockey for Hyatt Regency Employee Party |
![]() Hyatt Regency Employee Party This was probably the most fun I've ever seen a group have at an employee party. The afternoon was highlighted by Karaoke performances of Thriller, Proud Mary, She Works Hard, New Kids on the Block, and the grand finale from the general manager himself, All Shook Up performed in full costume. What an awesome venue to work with! I look forward to having the opportunity to DJ your annual Holiday Party! Special thanks to Shelley Stultz and the entire staff at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita, KS! -Caleb |

Tulsa Wedding Reception DJ for Mr. & Mrs. Brian Wilson |
![]() I had the honor of DJing Kimberly and Brian Wilson's wedding on October 10, 2009 at the Radisson Hotel. I met Kimberly at a wedding show back in January and she decided on the spot she wanted us at her wedding. In January, her and I had both recently got engaged and our weddings are only a month a part from each other so we had a lot of wedding planning stories to share with each other over the past several months! Her wedding could not have gone better so it was encouraging for me! Kimberly and Brian were truly some of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege of working with, and their families were just as pleasant. I admit, it was a little hard for me to hold it together during the toasts... they showed a lot of love and support! ![]() Oh and their first dance was something else! They broke it down to a mix of everything from Etta James to Michael Jackson to Soulja Boy! Thank you all so much... you were wonderful! -Mikey
